Summary

The standard MACO EM-35 Phase Pistol and MACO EMC-35 Particle Rifle are standard issue to MACO personnel, and available through prior authorization request by the Chief Armory Officer and commanding officer of the ship, and the MACO Commander based on availability. These are updated from the 2149 models. Also issued requiring prior authorization to MACOs only by the MACO Commander is the AP-77L light rail gun for operations where radiation hinders beam weapons, the special SEM-3N sniper rifle specifically for the MACO Sharpshooter, and a single heavy repeating phased particle weapon which is not to be deployed on ship and is assigned only to the MACO Heavy Weapons soldier. The MACO force has their own protective vest.
