Summary

The Denobulan Interplanetary Peacekeepers have allowed Starfleet to have a few of their non-lethal protection sidearm aboard some of their ships, the PPb phased energy sidearm. Denobulan exchange officers, including civilians, are also offered this sidearm for their protection. It is the only weapon that Starfleet is currently offering to any civilians aboard ship who have not passed their civilian Phase Pistol certification.
